hey everybody i kno i havent updated in a long time...and for a while it took me a week to comment u...ive been in texas....heres the details...and i expect you to read all of them lol
DAY 1
me, lauren, mom, dad, heather, and adam went to texas for vacation...we went to a cabin port aransas texas...we were like 5 minutes away from the beach...it was cool...the night before we left, we were up really late packing so we were tired...i went to bed and when mom woke me up the next morning and 7:00, lauren was on the couch watching tv...my parents had rented one of those stupid things that make it so you can pack your luggage on top of your car...yeeeaaahhh that was retarded lol...but at least it made it so our car wasnt as crowded...anyways while my parents packed all the bags, me and lauren sat on the couch and watched spongebob (lol yeah we were bored) until we left at 9:00... and me and lauren had to sit in the back of the van while heather and adam got to sit in the middle seats and be all comfy we were like wtf butyeah and i went to sleep and have no idea what happened in the car between 9:00 and 10:00, but at 10:00, me and lauren put now 21 in her walkman and we were listening to it and screaming the words to every song it was fun...heather ended up singing with us...adam was mad haha he was like SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! lol anyways i think i went back to sleep until noon and at noon, lauren woke me up and was like "FOOD!!" mom had packed us sandwiches and stuff for lunch and we ate at a picnic area in oklahoma and our table was shaded by a giant fake teepee...that was fun...and along the way, the stupid luggage carrier on top of our van kept making strange sounds so we kept pulling over to make sure our stuff was ok...When we left the lunch area, we drove for a while and we stopped at a "loves" gas station and country store...who would call a gas station loves?? anyways we left loves and drove some more me and lauren were playing "categories" and stuff to kill time...we ended up stopping at 2 more loves...there is a lot of those things in texas lol...anyways we stopped at sonic and i got a cherry limeade, adam got one too and heather got a green apple slush...heather drank like all of me and adams drinks and barely any of her slush...shes a psycho lol...lauren went to sleep for a while i was listening to music and just as we were passing the "welcome to texas" sign, lauren woke up...dad told us about how we were gonna be spending the night and continuing the drive to port aransas tomorrow...dad told us about the small city or town or whatever we were staying at...heather told us about how it was haunted by a bunch of ghosts or something like that and we were like ooooook...so we started looking for a hotel in the city and some guy like got in the wrong lane and almost hit our van head on...theres some stupid ppl in texas god damn, lol....well we found a bunch of hotels. there was a days inn, a fairfield in, a holiday inn...but what does my parents choose?? motel 6...only the ghettoest for us!! we got there and there was a big group of old men workers staying there overnight(which was creepy) so we got our room and it was FREEZING!! me, lauren, and the rest of my family were freezing our asses off!! until i got under the coversof the bed and the sheets were like nasty and greasy...sick...so Heather and dad went out to get a pizza while me, lauren, and adam went swimming...the pool didnt have a drain...eww....we werent in the pool for long though because as soon as we got in the water, like every old man that was staying there that night came out of their rooms or opened their windows and were staring at us...adam was nice and stayed with us for a while until we saw a few of the old men in their swim trunks leaving their rooms to come swimming...adam was like fuck this and left so my mom flipped out and made us get out...i wasnt arguing with her though, i wanted to get out cause that was CREEPY!!...then we got up right outside our motel room door and smelled marijuana so that freaked my mom out even more....from that point on, mom wouldnt let us leave the room, leave the door unlocked, or open the door unless it was someone we knew...we got in and i took a long shower because of the nasty pool water...then i ate little ceasars pizza...anyone remember when that was in topeka?? it closed down, sadly...then i watched family guy and went to bed...at like midnight, there was some guy outside our door screaming in spanish keeping me up i was like wtf but yeah...that day was pretty crazy...
DAY 2
the next day mom got me up at like 8:30ish or 9:00...we were packing our stuff to leave the motel 6...it took us about a half an hour to get all packed...when we got into the car, i realized that my ipod was nowhere so we all panicked and looked through the hotel room a few times...when we couldnt find it, we decided to assume that it was packed...so we left motel 6(and all the nasty old men were gone) but my family got in the car (and lauren and adam) and we decided to look for a place to eat breakfast...we stopped by walmart to buy some ice for drinks and a new hairbrush (because i lost the old one) my parents and adam went inside and me, lauren, and heather sat in the car...we were singing more songs until they got back. they put the ice away and we went off to find someplace to eat breakfast. we had seen an ihop somewhere around before...it took a while but we finally found it. we got there and were seated immediatly(point for ihop) we ordered our drinks, heather got regular coke, mom got diet coke, dad got coffee, lauren got sprite, and me and adam got chocolate milk...the lady left and came back a second later with all the pops, but no chocolate milk...she said the chocloate milk was draining or some crap (point against ihop) and she took our orders and left. i got a belgian waffle, lauren got vive la french toast, my dd got a short stack of buttermilk pancakes, my sister got a pancake platter, mom got 2 egg breakfast and adam got chicken strips and fries. the lady came back with more pop refills saying "chocolate milks not done" (point against ihop) later she came back with all the food except mine...and no chocolate milk...she said "waffle machine is broken would you like anything else?" (point against ihop) i was like whatever and got chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream. the lady left and another one came back with two chocolate milks. the lady who took our orders came back with two chocolate milks because she didnt kno the other lady had given us the other chocolate milks so me and adam got 2 CHOCOLATE MILKS!! (point for meaghan) the lady came back and apologised for "the confusion"...we finished and left ihop...

anyways we drove more and saw more and more palm trees. we drove for seven hours total that day and stopped for bathroom about every ten minutes and by one gas station, there was a mexican flag and a bunch of plastic milk cartons and the sign said "for the 19 immigrants who died juse 14, 2003"...we wanted to know what happened to them, but no one had the nerve to go in the gas station and ask...anyways we passed a sign that said "aransas county" so we knew we were close to the cabin...we got on a car ferry and began to sail to port aransas. while on the ferry, we saw giant ships, dolphins, and lots and lots of water...when we got to the other side, we wandered around for a little while until we found a little area with about 6 small cabins...there was a purple one, a hot pink one, a blue one, a red one, a green one, and a big yellow one all in a row...dad walked in the yellow because it turned out to be the guest registration center. mom went in too and came out with a key. the key was purple, so we had the purple cabin. we walked in and looked around. it was like a tiny house...two rooms, one with one big bed and the other with two small beds. the couch in the small living room folded out into a bed. we divided the rooms into me and lauren sleep in the room with the two small beds, mom and dad sleep in the room with the big bed, and heather and adam sleep on the fold out couch. we looked around and saw that the tv was extremely small, but that didnt matter as much when we put our stuff away, got in our swim suits and went to the BEACH!! we got to the beach and stepped into the sand...it felt weird lol...me and lauren ran straight for the water...we got in and went deeper and deeper into the water. the waves were hitting our faces and kept getting into our mouths so we kept spitting cause it tasted salty. we were swimming for a while and we looked for shells too and at one point, i picked up a live crab and screamed which made lauren scream so me and her were just sitting there screaming...lol it was funny....anyways so heather, adam, and dad left for a while and came back with an inflateable raft. adam blew it up and we brought it to the water and jumped in the raft...the waves were making us rock back and forth really fast. it was fun. we were there for like 3 hours before we left and in that time, we watched the sunset and ate whataburger....we had never seen a whataburger, since theres none in ks...i had a hamburger with ketchup, mustard, and lettuce, and fries...lauren had a triple cheeseburger ketchup and lettuce (omg those things r bigger then the angus beef burgers at hardees even though ive never had one, lauren must have been hungry) and she had fries...adam had a triple cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, and onioms...mom had a hamburher with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes, dad got a triple cheeseburger with pickles and ketchup, heather got subway because she doesnt like fast food (thats crap)
